Welcome to Behemoth Gaming!

I am excited to take up the reigns of my latest endeavor, Behemoth Gaming. A site for all my geeky activities.

Hello there new people, old people, and anyone who doesn’t some how fit into those categories! Behemoth Gaming is a site where I can write about all manner of geeky activities that I engage in. And there is a lot.

I’ve been running Less QQ, More PewPew for over three and a half years now. It’s been tons of fun writing about Hunters and World of Warcraft. But my play time has decreased a lot lately for a lot of reasons. I’ve been playing WoW since the original beta in 2004 and have been playing it consistently since then.

I’ve experienced everything the game has to offer in my opinion. I’ve leveled tons of characters. Raided at a high level on two different character. A Warrior in vanilla in Burning Crusade followed by a Hunter from Burning Crusade till the beginning of Cataclysm. I’ve played in the 2200 bracket of Arena on a Death Knight. My Hunter is just shy of 9000 achievements points as well.

However I am unable to dedicate a set schedule to raiding anymore like I wish I could. I have a wonderful 6 month old baby boy who requires my ability to walk away from a game when needs be. So it has been tugging at me to go back to gaming the way it was before World of Warcraft. If you want to read more about my decline in World of Warcraft time, I will be making a post on Less QQ in the next day or so.

I’ve been playing video games since I won an original Nintendo from selling candy bars in Little League baseball. After that, I always had a Sega or a Playstation. It wasn’t until high school that I finally got a computer and discovered the joy of PC gaming. I had met tons of awesome people who taught me about building computers, networking, and fragging folks.

During this time I also learned to play Magic: The Gathering and more recently started the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game in which I am also an active judge for local events.

Many of my weekends are spent with my friends playings games such as Dominion, Ticket to Ride, Colosseum, Ricochet Robots, and many other fantastic board games.

While I am fairly confident that even after 6.5 years of subscription fees (I haven’t canceled yet) that I have saved money from games I would have purchased, I am excited to play many games I might have missed. I made time for things like Portal, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age but there are many more I never got around to playing.

And that is why Behemoth Gaming is here. I wanted a place to write about all manner of geeky and nerdy things I partake in.

As it was on Less QQ, comments and criticism are always appreciated. I have forums up and running for discussions that don’t fit into post comments so feel free to check those out. You can register up at the top creating a new account or by using Twitter credentials if that’s your thing.

Thanks!
